Ideas built into working software.

Personal projects with real engineering constraints: private data, mobile workflows and analysis people can understand. Built by Peter, from the underlying logic to the interface.

The subjects are different. The discipline carries into business systems: understand the user, make the rules clear and remove work from the process.

Private Android journal

BeachLog

Problem
Beach visits, photos, notes, maps and practical details need one private place to stay together.
What we built
An offline-first Android journal for beaches, visits, photos, maps, packing lists and recaps.
What it solves
It keeps a personal beach history together without requiring an account or cloud sync.
Engineering focus
Local data, photos and maps brought into one mobile workflow. The same design questions matter in field tools: what must work without a connection, what stays private and how quickly someone can record what happened.

Commander deck analysis

Moxscore

Problem
A 100-card Commander decklist shows the cards but not the balance or structure behind them.
What we built
A browser-based deck analyser with a health score, role breakdown, mana curve and deterministic guidance.
What it solves
It turns a decklist into understandable signals without relying on a black-box verdict.
Engineering focus
Structured input, deterministic scoring and an interface that explains the result. The same approach matters in reporting and decision tools: show how a signal was produced so people can judge what to do next.

Pre-launch website QA

Launch Ready

Problem
A site can look finished and still ship with noindex leftovers, staging form URLs, missing analytics tags or placeholder copy.
What we built
A browser-and-worker scanner with deterministic rules, an explainable score, and client-ready reports.
What it solves
It turns a staging or live URL into a Launch Readiness score and a prioritized fix list before go-live.
Engineering focus
Deterministic crawl rules, an explainable score and a report you can send to a client. The same discipline matters in launch and QA work: show what was checked, what blocked go-live, and what a human still has to review.

CheckoutControl puts Shopify checkout rules in one editor. 8digits Factura brings invoice generation into the WooCommerce order flow. Launch Ready checks a site before it ships. All three apply the same thinking to the work that has to be right on the day.

What needs to work better?

Leads waiting for a reply. Orders followed by manual admin. Reports rebuilt every week. Bring one process and we can work out where a simpler workflow, an integration or a small application would help.
