What actually happened
On October 22 and 23, 2026, Cuttable announced a relaunch of its AI advertising platform alongside an A$20 million Series A funding round. The product aims to connect campaign performance analysis, decisions about the next creative concept, editable ad production and publishing, with results flowing into later creative work.
Cuttable says the platform can draw on existing advertising performance, product catalogues and owned photography or video. It supports publishing to Meta and TikTok, and references integrations with commerce and measurement products. That means its intended scope is larger than turning a prompt into an image.
The company says more than 420 brands use its platform. Adoption figures, revenue statements and performance improvements from its announcement should be treated as vendor-provided information, not independent proof of advertising effectiveness.
Why a small team cares
Take a small Shopify skincare brand running Meta ads. A designer can produce several attractive ads quickly, but deciding what to test next is harder. The business has to distinguish a message that earned cheap clicks from one that actually sold a product profitably.
If Cuttable can read the campaign's previous results and use approved product assets, it may help the team produce five genuinely different hypotheses instead of five near-identical layouts. One might emphasize product texture, another a use case, another a customer concern. That is useful only if the differences can be measured against the same business outcome.
The valuable saving may be in choosing and preparing the next test rather than the raw cost of generating imagery. A small team can already produce inexpensive variations with general AI tools. What it usually lacks is enough disciplined testing time to learn which creative decision affected customer acquisition.
Hype vs useful
Connecting the creative editor to ad results does not automatically establish causality. Changing placement, audience, budget, offer and creative together makes it difficult to know what worked. Campaign data can also be noisy when conversions are sparse or attribution is incomplete.
Cuttable's claimed improvement should therefore be separated from an advertiser's own results. Keep the targeting and objective comparable, review generated assets for claims and visual accuracy, and measure human editing time as well as performance.
Five new ads are not a useful outcome by themselves. A useful outcome is a faster creative cycle that maintains brand control and produces more qualified customers for the money spent.
The rational test is one existing campaign with reliable measurement. If the platform only generates more variants without helping the team make better decisions, the additional subscription is difficult to justify.
